I've been shooting and producing for over a decade — commercials, documentaries, corporate work. I created award-winning films that aired worldwide, led campaigns reaching millions, volunteered on projects that truly mattered. I've lived my dream, and I still do.

But in parallel, something else happened: I accumulated storage. Raw footage, originals, client drives, backups, more backups — hundreds of terabytes. I reached a point where I was drowning in disks and data. I was lost in terabytes.

Cloud backup was an option, but at $5/TB/month archiving everything would cost more than the jobs paid. And I wasn't editing this stuff — I just needed to know it was safe and be able to find it if I ever needed it again.

After years of this loop, I created Drivolt — born from my love for IT, my experience with media, and my obsession with solving a very real problem: what should you do with all the hard drives sitting on your shelf, drawer, or closet? Basically, Drivolt lets you retire your old drives into a secure storage facility while still giving you a “small security camera” to peek in. So if you have a Western Digital, Seagate, LaCie, or any other drive sitting forgotten in a drawer and you want to finally get your data under control — Drivolt is your answer.

Every drive is duplicated to two separate vault locations. If one copy has a problem, the other is already there.

Long-term by default

10-year storage included. Forever Protection extends to 25. We price for decades, not quarters.

No hidden anything

No egress fees, no surprise charges, no “your plan is expiring” emails. You see the price, you pay it, that's it.

What if Drivolt shuts down?

We commit to 90 days advance notice, returning your original drives, and full transition support. Your data is never held hostage. If we ever cease operations, you get your drives back — period.
