1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Drivolt's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Drivolt provides long-term digital archive storage services. We accept physical storage drives, ingest and catalog your data, and provide secure cloud storage with various viewing and access tiers.

Our services include:

  • Secure data ingestion from physical drives
  • Long-term archival storage (1-25 years)
  • Web-based file browsing and preview
  • Data download and retrieval services

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

  • Store illegal content or content that violates third-party rights
  • Distribute malware or harmful software
  • Attempt to breach security or access others' data
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Resell or redistribute our services without authorization

5. Payment Terms

Payment is required based on your selected storage plan:

  • Lifetime plans: One-time upfront payment for up to 25 years of storage
  • Annual plans: Recurring yearly payments

All payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes. Refunds are available within 30 days of payment if no data has been ingested.

6. Data Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to your data. We do not claim any ownership over the content you store with us. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing our services.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% service availability. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may perform scheduled maintenance. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime.

8. Data Retrieval

You may request retrieval of your original physical drives at any time. Retrieval requests are subject to processing times and applicable fees. We will provide your data in a reasonable timeframe, typically within 5-10 business days.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drivolt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, you will have 90 days to retrieve your data before it is permanently deleted. No refunds are provided for unused storage time after the 30-day refund period.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
